Services

Who keeps your books?

For us, accounting is not a sideline but the core of the firm. We take it over entirely, share it with you, or simply review the financial statements — depending on how much you want to do yourself. We record responsibilities in writing so that nothing falls between two stools at year-end.

  • Ongoing financial accounting

We post creditors, debtors, bank and cash monthly or quarterly. You deliver documents digitally via the portal or as folders — either is fine with us. A plastering business with around 300 documents a month receives the previous month's report by the tenth. We flag open items before they turn into losses.

  • Annual financial statements under the Code of Obligations

We prepare the balance sheet, income statement and notes so that they hold up before the bank and the tax administration. We discuss accruals, provisions and depreciation with you in advance. At a physiotherapy practice we adjusted the depreciation period for equipment and thereby smoothed the profit trend. The financial statements are gone through at a meeting, not sent by email.

  • VAT statements

We file quarterly or half-yearly, using the effective method or the net tax rate method. We review input tax corrections for private shares afresh every year. For a trade business with a company vehicle, we calculate the private share so that it withstands an audit. In the event of additional assessments, we accompany the procedure.

  • Setting up and taking over mandates

We set up the chart of accounts, cost centres and document workflow from scratch, or take over existing accounts. When switching, we collect the data from the previous adviser and check the opening balance sheet. We took over an engineering firm mid-financial year without a single VAT deadline being missed. We accompany the first quarter more closely than the following ones.

The rates below are final prices including VAT. After the initial consultation you receive a written quote with a range that we stick to. Flat rates are customary from the second year.

Switching on 1 January

Changing your accounting provider is easiest at the start of a financial year. If you want to switch on 1 January, get in touch in October or November — then we have time to prepare the chart of accounts and data transfer without rushing. One call is enough for a first appointment.
